Edaphic phytophagous nematodes related to soy crop in Coronel Suárez, Buenos Aires Province
Keywords:
nematodes, phytoparasites, Helicotylenchus spp., Pratylenchus spp., Tylenchorhynchus spp.Abstract
Nematodes are a central topic for soil ecology, theirs throphic groups are important for vegetables, they change the phisiology, celular morphology and development. The root systems of soybean had been seriously affected by nematodes causing death of the injuired plants. At Partido Coronel Suarez, Provincia de Buenos Aires, soybean represented one of the more significant crops to argentine agricultural production, by the sowed area, yields and relevance for the rural economy. The edaphic community were composed by Pratylenchus spp. (41,952%), Tylenchorhynchus spp. (29,015%), Helicotylenchus spp. (20,976%), Paratylenchus spp. (6,441%), y 1,628% without nematodes. The same sequence was obtained in the maximum population, with 130, 90, 75 and 65 nematodos/100gr soil, respectively. Pratylenchus spp. is a migratory endoparasite, Tylenchorhynchus spp. is an ectoparasite and Helicotylenchus spp. is a migratory semiendoparasite, all them are fitoparasites of soy and corn.
